Fascism in Northamptonshire during the 1930s
Although not strictly "Black History" the following two articles are a timely reminder of the how fascism can establish itself within local communities, not least Northamptonshire. Local Historian Philip Coupland has produced two excellent short articles on the British Union of Fascists (BFU) or Blackshirts in Northampton and Wellingborough in the 1930s.
